Music Room 3 Scanlations

Hello, everyone.
We're really sorry to inform you that MR3 scanlation group decided to cease its activity.

The explanation behind this decision is long and painful, all that we can say is that real life proved to be really hard for some of us and, deprived of some of its members, the group is unable to release the chapters.
We would have loved to finish Ouran High School Host Club but since not all the members were here to help, the quality would not have been the one we always gave you which is why we prefer to end our activity with that awesome Final Chapter, so that you will have a good memory of us.

We deeply apologize for this, the majority of the members of the group are quite unhappy with this decision but there is nothing we can do to change it.
For this month's OneShot, Miyu will probably post on her blog a summary of it and the raws for the chapter are already flying around.
We wish we could do more but there are certain things you can't fight against, sadly.

Thank you for the great and incredible support you all gave us during these years. It made us really happy and helped us so, so much...you can't even imagine how much.
We do really love you, it was, for some of us, the best experience ever.

We hope to meet you again someday, somewhere.

In Lala Special out November 10th, there will be some extra Ouran stuff, the main thing being an extra short chapter. Miyu has said the special will most likely take place before the end, but we'll just have to see when it comes out. :) So here are the two preview images about the special that was shown in Lala after the final chapter.

Well, we are both excited and sad to release......the final chapter of Ouran High School Host Club! It's been a long journey for us, not only scanlating but following this wonderful series in both manga and anime form. We picked it up when no one else would, and we're glad we got to share our love for it! Thanks for sticking by us, we'll make an announcement eventually about our plans for future. :) But for now, I think you'll want to read this chapter!

So the only way to get it from us is to download here directly, we know nothing of any site that hosts our scanlations. If you happen to find one that's great, but we take no part in uploading it and we don't know of any to share. :)

Ouran Update! (and other stuff)

The Lala issue for this month as arrived! Sadly Ouran won't officially continue until next month, but we do have a preview for whats to come! You can view the two preview images at our Twitpic here: http://twitpic.com/photos/musicroom3

Going by the preview, Ouran is most likely to end in three issues! So we're assuming chapter 83 may be the finale. Since the next chapter will be 52 pages, hopefully the last two will be also! We'll keep you posted with any information we find out, but for now enjoy the previews~

Also, I guess we should address the whole scanlating fiasco going on. You can check out the article here: ANN

Basically the manga companies are uniting together to stop scanlations and the sites that host them. As you can see Mangafox no longer has Ouran and other licensed manga on their site. You can still go to Onemanga to view them, which will most likely not be taken down. And of course we have no plans to stop scanlating Ouran, we're here until the end!

But the whole reason this is going down is because the authors and the companies make no money from scanlations. Support their work and buy the licensed copies! We make no money from it either, and we don't plan to try and make money off of it. We're just fans who love this manga as much as you do! We're glad you love what we do, but please support Hatori and buy the legal version when it's available to you. :)

Announcement!
The next chapter of Ouran won't be out until July 24th. We aren't sure if that will be the last chapter, or the beginning of the 'final part'. But in the June issue of Lala there will be a new update on Ouran so hopefully we'll know by then!

There is no chapter 79 this month. It will be released March 24th.

Hello Ouran fans! Sadly, there is no chapter 79 this month. But in Lala DX there was a special chapter released this month. So that's the substitute for it. It may be short, but we get a better insight into the twin's family! Who wouldn't like that? Also, according to Bisco Hatori's personal blog, this is the last special chapter for Ouran! And with volume 16 coming out in April, we feel Ouran may end in a few chapters (around 81). Let's hope it goes out with a bang!

a quick update

Hello Ouran fans! Hanging in there? As you know, there is no Ouran chapter this month (otherwise it would have been released by now), so next month it will continue with chapter 75. But don't worry, it'll be out before you know it!

What I really wanted to say, is that we have a raw provider! So now we don't have to go mooching around the internet for raws. The raw provider is actually dreaming0, who is already a part of our group. So super thanks to her for doing this for all of us~ Now that we have that problem out of the way, releases should be done a lot faster (unless other things come up that hinder us).

Now that we have a sure way to get raws, we're trying our best to get the special chapter (omake) that was in LaLa DX back in May. Hopefully we'll have that soon! It was a special starring Hunny and Reiko, something you definitely want to check out! We'll keep our eye out for it and keep you updated~ We'll see you then. (:

Also we approached the cleaning in a different way. Some sound effects (sfx) are left alone (but still translated), while others are cleaned off completely. We'd love to know your input on it, a poll was put up about it so feel free to vote, or maybe reply to this entry and tell us what you think. Either is possible for us, so don't be afraid to tell us which you think is better. :)

Welcome to the new site! Hopefully this will go well. From now on releases will be put up here first, and then on FRoP (krysyuy.net/forums) second. Most likely I'll redirect FRoP to this site, but until everyone gets the word of it I'll just put up the links there.

But if you want updates for anything Ouran manga related, be sure to check out here! When the raws come out it'll be announced, and also when the chinese scans and etc. So feel free to bookmark the site and just enjoy our releases without the worry of spoilers. :)
